work

Since 2013, I've worked as a writer and media relations staffer at Johns Hopkins Medicine. I cover a few different beats, but mainly I write about clinical and research breakthroughs.

A lot of my writing has to appeal to doctors and consumers alike. It's tricky - you don't want to talk down to doctors and you don't want to overwhelm consumers. To me, the most interesting part is making the science palatable for non-scientists.
