Fists-Of-Ham
These pages hold samples of some of the work I've done fairly recently. I call it "fists of ham" because of its less-than-elegant presentation. But it does, I believe, represent my writing pretty well.
Should you peruse the next few pages, most of what you'll see was written between roughly 2008 and 2015. I'll always regret my years as a poor archivist of printed work; mountains of my Dundalk Eagle bylines and elected-official speeches are taking up valuable recycling space somewhere.
On the "work" link, you'll find writing I've done over the past few years for Johns Hopkins Medicine. I really enjoy writing science and medicine, as well as telling stories of dedicated Hopkins staffers and Baltimore residents.
On the "sport" link, there are links to a growing and pretty widely-read baseball site I edit. The "life" link will take you to samples of (mostly) non-sports writing I've done.
